1- Should John Barnes now take over from a successful Whitmore before the next World Cup game?
2 - What changes if any should be made to play Canada?
3- Post your best wishes to the Boyz.
Send them to a blog like that which we use for LIVE TEXT.

i would like them to work together as a team but, right now tappa on a roll. what my concerns are barnes coaching expeirence from what my folks tell me he’s going about things as if this is our youth team our senior team are well seasoned and Bibi has to make a stand now before its too late a let barnes know how we the players feel. they definatly arent kids! we crush canada 6-0. we shouldnt change much i would say go 4-2-2-2 but 3-4-3 is just as better!! go boyz

THERE IS A LEFT SIDED DEFENDER/MIDFIELDER,WHO PLAYS IN THE USL 1ST DIVISION(USA) FOR MINNESOTA THUNDER NAME STEPHEN DEROUX,WHO I THINK NEED TO BE LOOKED AT BY THE COACHES.HE IS A 5FT.9IN. 25 YEAR OLD WHO WAS BORN IN ST. MARY AND HE IS BLESSED WITH GOOD PACE AND SKILL.HE PLAYED 2 YEARS WITH D,C.UNITED IN MSL.
COACHES HAVE A LOOK AT HIM,IT IS WORTH A TRY.

Nuff respect to Mr. Tappa Whitmore, a man mi idolize when I played DaCosta cup for St.T.T.H.S. I’m in Iraq right now and just a leave some blessing fi di team. As we know we need to win by a large margin and hope for a mexico win at best to qualify for the next round. I think we should play a 3-1-4-2 using austin to protect our defenders and drop fuller right behind king and shelton since he’s the harder worker. I’m not a coach but still play competitive ball and watch the top leagues around the world everytime they play. We have an aboundace of talent at our disposal come Nov 19th God forbids any injury to any of our players. Our team has to play as if it is their last game of football in their lives but as a minor league player in the U.S. with my jamaican balla background, I know we coming out like pitbulls in a fight and we gonna leave it all on the field. Big up to whitmore and the most talented team Jamaica has seen to date.

The Honduras assitance coach [Alexis Mendoza] has it all wrong. Mexico needs to qualify. Mexico doesn’t care whether Honduras or Jamaica qualify. Alexis Mexico is scare of no team playing in Mexico. Hey ! count your blessing and try get your team ready for the Mexican come November 19. The coach job is on the line, sorry to say, they are coming to Honduras in a no non-sense mood. They need to qualify at all cost so stop looking around for excuses and get cracking. It was all sweet and dandy when Mexico was on 9 points and Honduras on 6 after the first round. Now you are sweating on nine talking crap. Be careful of your instigations [ Referee & FIFA ] - Mine yu little work. Time too hard. Goooo Mexicoooo./ Goooo Raggae Boyz.

It is no secret that Tappa is more than a coach to this Jamaican squad but an icon and a legend. With all due respect to Tappa and the Jamaican football fraternity John Barns may be a better coach that Tappa so may be Simoes but one thing they don’t have that Tappa have even if you combine them Is the fear Love and respect The Jamaican squad has for Tappa, and that we know is the most important ting to a squad or team to be more politically correct. Tappa does not have to prove loyalty to us Jamaicans because we all seen what he has done for our nation. also having Veterans of 98 Bibi and pepe and ricketts in the squad who played with tappa helping to spread that thrust helps to uplift and motivate the youngster into thrusting in tappa “master plan”. It is undeniable the amount of talent we have in this squad. We should have been in a better position but we cannot cry over spilled milk. I think it is rather unfair to not give Tappa the chance to have this job full time after all that he has prove time and time again. I also think it is unfair to not include on for our most inform strikes at present Mr. King, who contrary to popular believe has pledged his serve to the national team after the real king Tappa had a hole hearted conversation with him. Let us not forget that Semoes is the reason King and the new for maestro of Jamaican Mr. Rice and Peas was left out, it was not the unwillingness for King to represent his country. Did you see the game Hull played this weekend Mr. King was responsible for one goal and he also scored. By the way Hull is also #3 in the best league in the world and there to scorer is Jamaican need I say more.

Jamaica need to put This game away before HT . A wopping
3-0 at HT can be done , I hope tappa knows he will have
to use a attacking 343 . Remember when jamaica won 3-0 in
san salvador ?. @ home 1 goal every 10- 15 minutes can be achieved if the players want it . Team ! :
GK -
Shawn Sawyers (plays distributive Ball)
DF -
STEWART (sweeper), Ian Goodison , Marshall
MF-
BIBI , Austin , JCR, Khari Stevenson
FWD-
Shelton , Fuller , Fabian Taylor

Mexico will beat honduras no doubt because they are not playing badly as the scoreline of their last two matches suggest. Jamaica just needs to take care of canada and thats it.

Some of the Mexican players on thier way back from Canada, overnight at the Hotel I work at in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
The ones I spoke to gaurantee me a win in Honduras moreso, thier coach head is on the line.
I beg them in Spanish,’por favor,deja jamaica a ganar’.
I am a physic so this is what is going to happen.Mexico will beat Honduras and Jamaica will score more than one goal to beat Canada. The Honduran coach will be fired immediately and later the Mexican coach.
Can’t wait to see Marlon King back in the line up.

Tappa should stay in charge for the canada game so as not to break up the chemistry The Boyz have now.Canada should not be taken lightly as they showed against Mexico they can be spoilers even though they cant qualify.Jamaica must go for the win as i’m confident Mexico will put it together and beat Honduras .Looking forward to another victory.

I personally think that Marlon King if fit(back problem reason why not available for last two encounters)should be invited to the next game against Canada. At this crucial point Jamaica must utilize all their great strikers to boost its goal-scoring potentials.Just look at the winning and losing record and one can clearly see the need.No disrespect to Rene Simoes but we cannot copy his history of allowing some of our best strikers to be Missing In Action;REMEMBER-GOALS WIN MATCHES !!!

Unfortunately the score will need to be Jam 4-0 Canada and Honduras 4-0 over Mexico. Or we win outright and Mexico wins outright.
October 16th, 2008 at 11:52 pm
Jamaica vs Canada , Same Team that starts vs Mexico can start , maybe a couple minor changes.
Prediction :
Jamaica 2 vs Canada 1
TEAMS:
Mexico MP=6 wins=4 draw=1 lost=1 GD=5 Points = 13
Jamaica MP=6 wins=3 draw=1 lost =2 GD= -2 Points =10
Honduras MP=6 wins=3 draw=0 lost=3 GD = 2 Points =9
more time

I think they should not call Marlon King for the next game. I think he is now more interested in Hull City than Jamaica.

Whitmore should be allowed to coach the team in the next game against Canada. If John Barnes take over and we don’t qualify for whatever reason, he would be persona non grata thereafter.
Come on captain Burrell, do the right thing.
