Fort Lauderdale. Although the rain fell incessantly in Fort Lauderdale on Tuesday, the Honduran team trained almost normally. They did not want to miss a minute as they prepare for the World Cup qualifiers.

The team trained in the Gym and then did the most they could on the field.

"We are lucky that we can work in the Gym," said the physical trainer. "Now we must allow them to recuperate." The Colombian said that the only doubt was Juilo Caesar "Rambo" de Leon who has a hernia in his foot. Rambo, Suazo, Boniek and Wilson did not train as they are suffering from a stomach illness which they may have picked up in Honduras.

The coach is looking beyond Puerto Rico who they hammered 4-0 in the first leg of the World Cup qualifier. He said he had not seen the Canadians, who incidentally, are training at the same facility. He went on lament that the National Stadium in Honduras will not be ready for the game against Jamaica, and he would therefore prefer to play the game in San Pedro Sula.

They will play Puerto Rico in the return game on the Saturday.
